Most of our processes are unconscious. 99.9% of our thoughts are repetitive. This means that most of what you do is on autopilot.
We are fearful, petty, small, angry, or vengeful simply because we cannot control our own emotions. What is the best way to control your mind? Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, or REBT, which teaches you how to deprogram negative responses and reprogram positive ones.
People will do virtually anything out of fear. Fear is simply a worry that you repeat repeatedly in your head. Fear is made bigger with pictures and feelings.
Give yourself a break, life is hard. 25% of people have a current mental illness, and 53% of people will have a mental illness in their lifetime. It is abnormal to be normal your whole life.
