The [course_title] course will prepare you for the associate exam and is suitable for the Network Specialists, Network Administrators, Network Support Engineers and Cisco Channel Partners.  After completing the course, you will be able to operate a medium-sized LAN with multiple switches supporting VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree.

The course teaches you how to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise network. You will gain an understanding of Quality of Service (QoS) elements and their applicability, how virtualised and cloud services will interact and impact enterprise networks, along with an overview of network programmability. The course also teaches you the related controller types and tools that are available to support software-defined network architectures. Finally, you will know about troubleshooting IP connectivity, configuring and troubleshooting EIGRP in an IPv4 environment and configure EIGRP for IPv6, configuring and troubleshooting OSPF in an IPv4 environment and configure OSPF for IPv6.  In short, the course covers all the necessary skills and knowledge for the ICND2 exam.

Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students of all academic backgrounds.

Assessment and Certification

On completion of the course, there will be an assessment consisting of multiple choice questions for which the pass mark is 60%.
